Group Fitness

Our land-based group exercise classes offer a variety of options for fun and fitness. From relaxing, stretching and strengthening to heart-pounding cardio action, you can find a class that makes exercise anything but routine. All group exercise classes are co-ed and designed for a variety of fitness levels.

There’s strength in numbers. The energy of a group, rhythm of the music, and motivation from an instructor will keep your heart rate up and your body moving.

No matter your current fitness level, the fitness staff are ready to meet your needs! From a basic free orientation to the equipment to one-on-one training, YMCA staff will help you feel comfortable in your pursuit of health and push you forward to reach your goals. Read below to see where you fit. Then, register at the Welcome Desk to get started.

Fitness Orientations

New members, or those just getting started, are encouraged to sign up for a free fitness orientation. This orientation is a 30-minute introduction of all of the machines in the fitness center. During this orientation, fitness staff will show you how to make all adjustments on the machines and to make sure you are comfortable using all of them. The orientation includes both the cardio and strength training equipment.
