Our Summer Day Camp program offers campers the opportunity to learn, play, and have fun all summer long!

Campers’ days will be filled with fun activities that align with the weekly theme! From arts and crafts to games and sports to STEM projects to character development to the water slide and more... there's something for everyone! Our coordinators plan a balance of fun and educational activities to keep our campers learning, growing, and thriving all summer long! We are also elated to bring back swimming and field trips this summer!

Camps:

  • Kinder Camp (entering K & 1st)

  • Day Camp (entering 2nd & 3rd)

  • Tween Camp (entering 4th, 5th, 6th)

Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
2024 Dates:

  • Registration opens: March 1st

  • First day of camp: June 3rd

2024 Camp Information and Resources

Registration Information: Register at mtsterlingymca.net/register. Registration is available online ONLY. A few things to note:

  • If you have multiple children, you will need to register them each individually. The first child should be registered as a regular full-time camper. The second and subsequent children can be registered using the “sibling” option.

  • Make sure you registered for every week! There are 10 weeks total.

  • If you have issues logging in or with online registration, please contact Alex at ymcageisler@casscomm.com

  • Interested in membership? Contact us to sign up for membership BEFORE you register for camp to ensure you get the best rate possible!

First Day of Camp: Monday, June 3rd

Last Day of Camp: Friday, August 9th

Sign In: Bring your child to the front of the YMCA to get them signed in with a YMCA Counselor. Sign-in time is typically between 7:30-8:45 am. If you arrive later than 8:45, please visit the YMCA front desk to check in. Please note that on field trip days (Thursdays), it is extremely important that your camper is here before 8:45. Our buses leave by 9:00am.

Sign Out: After Care runs from 4:00-5:30pm. You will come into the YMCA to find your child’s camp group to sign out. You must be on the approved pick up list to pick up a camper. If you need to pick up your camper outside of after care time, please visit the front desk. Please note that on swim and field trip days we will not be back at the Y any sooner than 4:00 pm.

What to bring – ALL ITEMS CLEARLY LABELED

  • Sturdy tennis shoes

  • Extra clothes

  • Jacket

  • Towel

  • Water bottle

  • Spray sunscreen (to be added to communal stash)

  • Swimsuit (Tuesdays for swim day, Wednesdays for water slide, and select Thursdays for certain field trips)

  • We will always gladly accept prepackaged snack donations if your family is willing and able 😃 

NOTE: please send your child in clothes and shoes that are able to get dirty! 😉

Breakfast and Lunch: TBA!

Tuesdays: We will be attending the Brown County Summer Reading Program, eating a picnic lunch, and swimming

Field Trips:  TBA!
