I love taking Group Ex classes! I have done a lot of Zoom and in person classes. You become part of a community of people that provide support, encouragement and help build each other up. The instructors are awesome and helpful. They have truly helped me stay accountable and active. I always have more energy and feel better after I am done. I am also very thankful for the Zoom option! It has afforded me the opportunity to take more classes and still interact with others in the class. It has been a lifesaver!

The communities and friendships built in our group exercise classes help facilitate social and wellness support and lasting life change. With the transition to zoom group exercise classes throughout the past year, we have seen the impact of group ex classes more than ever!

From Zumba to cycling, we have a multitude of group exercise classes. These classes typically meet twice a week, are 30 - 45 minutes in duration and run in six or eight week sessions.

Members who register for more than one group exercise class in a session pay full price for their first class and will receive $20 off each additional class. Classes must be taken within the same session.  Dot Foods pays $15 towards each class for all Dot employees.

Dot employee? We’ve got ya covered! When registering for classes, use promo code “dotgroupex” to receive your discount.

Taking more than one class? You will have to register and “check out” for each class to finish your registrations. When registering for your 2nd, 3rd, 4th…. class, enter “2ndclassdiscount” promo code to receive your multiple class discount.

Flow and Forge: Unite mind, body, and strength in this dynamic class that blends the fluidity of yoga, the core focus of Pilates, and the empowering intensity of strength training. Designed to enhance flexibility, build stability, and increase overall strength, creating a balanced and energized body. Instructor: Alyssa Seckman

Friday Spin: Looking for that perfect class to spin into the weekend?  Look no further than your favorite spin class.  Join the exuberant Chris during your Friday lunch hour as you spin with your best friends and get a solid sweat before relaxing for the weekend. Instructor: Chris Brierton

Intermediate S.F.B.: Intermediate SFB is a dynamic and engaging workout designed to enhance your strength, flexibility, and balance through a series of targeted exercises. Building on the foundations of our beginner SFB classes, this intermediate level increases intensity to provide a more challenging and effective workout. This class is perfect for older, active adults seeking to improve their functional movement capabilities, muscular endurance, core fitness, and overall well-being. Instructor: Leigh Ann Buss

Lower Body Sculpt: Tone, sculpt, and lift your backside!  This class will focus on shaping not only your glutes, but your legs as well!  Using resistance bands and weights, we will torch calories while shaping our lower body! Instructor: Chelsey Howard

Pilates: Our Pilates class focuses on strengthening your core, improving flexibility, and enhancing body awareness through controlled, low-impact movements. Perfect for all fitness levels, this class will help you build lean muscle, improve posture, and increase overall balance and stability. Whether you're new to Pilates or experienced, you'll leave feeling energized and centered! Instructor: Alex Geisler

Raise the Bar: Prepare to sweat in this 45 minute strength training class that will give you a full body workout while challenging your major muscle groups. This class utilizes cardio weight training with dumbbells and barbells in various formats including partners workouts, AMRAP, EMOM and more. This class will test your endurance, give you results and is not recommended for beginners. Instructors: Breiane Ham and Tricia Baker

Resistance Revolution: Revolutionize your workout with this Pilates-inspired class using resistance bars and bands to stretch, tone, and strengthen your entire body. Resistance Revolution combines controlled movements and targeted resistance to build core stability, improve flexibility, and sculpt lean muscle.  Instructor: Chelsey Howard

Ride and Shine: A great way to start your day, come out and ride with us!  This new spin class will challenge the experienced rider and educate the beginning rider.  To get you pumping, we’ll ride to the beat of your favorite tunes while climbing your own mountains.  Class will consist of a  warm-up, 35—40 minute ride, and a cooldown. Instructor: Chris Brierton

SFB: Strength, flexibility and balance is an effective workout for increasing strength, muscular endurance, core fitness and balance.  SFB is a perfect workout for older, active adults looking to increase functional movement capabilities.  Participants will use a chair for exercises.  Instructor: Leigh Ann Buss

Stretch and Strengthen: Our bodies need to stretch, flex, extend and lengthen.  Boost your metabolism and enhance your muscle mass.  Join Tammy’s class to get a total body focus from your head to your toes using weights, resistance bands and body weight. Instructor: Tammy Wilson

TRX: Where strength, stability, and versatility meet to redefine your fitness journey. TRX, which stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise, is a dynamic workout system that leverages suspension training to engage every muscle group, delivering unparalleled results in strength, balance, and flexibility. Instructor: Melissa Barfield

Water Aerobics 1 and 2: Dive into fitness with our Water Aerobics class! This low-impact, high-energy workout improves cardiovascular health, strength, and flexibility. Perfect for all fitness levels. Join us in the pool and make a splash! Instructor: Kristen Schenk

Wonder Woman Workout: Join us for an exhilarating outdoor group exercise class that will push your limits and transform your body! Wonder Woman Workout is a dynamic workout that combines circuit training, weight and strength training, and heart-pumping cardio to help you achieve your fitness goals while enjoying the great outdoors. Instructor: Elizabeth Ormond

Yoga:  Great stretching and relaxation for all ages!  Yoga makes the body strong and flexible.  Instructors: Florence Price or Alyssa Seckman

Zumba: Join the dance party with our Zumba class! This high-energy workout combines Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves for a fun, calorie-burning experience. Perfect for all fitness levels. Come dance, sweat, and have a blast! bands and body weight. Instructor: Carol Hauser

 

 

Free Yoga

Yoga offers great stretching and relaxation for all ages and fitness levels. We offer free yoga to all Y members. Classes are drop-in and do not require pre-registration. This is a great non-committal avenue to introduce yourself and your body to the practice of yoga.
